DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for preparing the budget, adjusting it as necessary, and allocating funds for each fiscal year. To maintain financial controls, you will monitor expenses and account balances and inform the business manager of account statuses to assist decision-making for various departments and operations. You will provide department heads with monthly reports on their current balances. Additionally, you will approve invoices related to the budget, welfare, and members' funds, ensuring that account postings are accurate for fixed assets. You will also make decisions regarding personnel matters, including position vacancies, work assignments, leave requests, and performance management.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year as an Accountant 2; or Three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting. Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation. A master's degree in accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.

Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
