We are currently seeking an ambitious, solutions-driven Civil Engineer with an interest in land development or municipal engineering. The ideal candidate will need to have a technical background, with the ability to multitask, and is excited about engineering innovative and sustainable solutions to exceed our client’s needs and expectations.

The Staff Engineer will support various project managers in completing a variety of projects for both public and private clients. This is an Entry Level position that requires knowledge of basic engineering principles designing roadways, sewers, water mains, and storm water management systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Managers with technical, and civil engineering design

• Perform technical engineering work associated with land development and/or water resources:

• Stormwater management design

• Site grading

• Erosion and sediment control design

• Prepare plans for agency/municipal review

• Completion of various land development and environmental permitting applications

• Attend meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors

• Candidate should be a critical thinker, be willing to learn through trial and error, be self-motivated, and willing to put the full effort towards the task at hand

• Candidate should have a strong desire to grow and advance as an engineer or technical designer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution

• 0-2 years of experience in land development civil-site engineering

• Knowledge of green infrastructure practices, such as bioretention systems, permeable pavement, infiltration systems, and green roofs

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCAD, ArcGIS preferred

• EIT Preferred
