Job Description Summary
The Assistant MAC & Decom Project Manager’s primary focus is to plan and manage facility move, add, change requests and small decommission projects to maximize space efficiencies while implementing solutions in-line with client lines of business and corporate real estate goals. Scope of work may vary greatly from month to month. Must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Job Description
Serves as a client contact for furniture and equipment moves, adds, changes and small projects
Travels to sites locally and nationally upon request
Executes work order requests within the SLA guidelines and ensures all KPIs are met
Partners with Occupancy Planner to develop migration plans and sequencing of small group-level relocations
Ability to interpret furniture request s and specifications
Ability to read floorplans and perform field measurements
Coordinates with Property Manager/Landlord (LL) for access to site
Walk through sites with landlord and vendors to determine scope of work
Performs detailed inventory of site FF&E assets with inventory management software
Complies with all security and licensing requirements when moving or decommissioning site assets
Ensures that PHI (personal health information) is always protected and that all protocols are followed
Follows all safety and security protocols, licensing and certification requirements to remove health care supplies, equipment and technology from the site (e.g., x-ray equipment, biowaste, oxygen tanks, other specialty equipment, etc.)
Effectively and confidently presents project status virtually over Teams and Zoom
Provides detailed scope of work and obtains quotes and generates RFQs required for MAC and Decommission work orders and small projects
Assesses quotes to meet scope of work and budgets to ensure financial compliance
Requests and issues POs to vendors
Assesses field conditions and reviews all job safety expectations with vendors
Provides onsite supervision of furniture moves, adds and changes and decommissions
Actively procures donation recipients and is a donation champion
Executes furniture disposition/donation plan and documentation
Manages to timeline and budget for workorders and small projects
Escalates issues and actively participates in conflict resolution
Perform walk through with LL to obtain site surrender release
Ensures that project is delivered on time
Requirements
Able to travel up to 50% during peak times (planned and last minute)
Learns new technology easily and uses it to the fullest potential (i.e. is tech savvy)
Must have at least 1-3 years’ experience in one or more of the following: project management, facility management, clinical facility management, move or decommission management, commercial furniture specification, occupancy planning or spatial data management.
Proficient with 2 or more of the following programs: PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Adobe, Sortly inventory management, FAMIS 360 or other workorder system
Experience with Serraview or other CAFM systems, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or other scheduling software
Must have good public speaking skills, competent writing proficiencies and be customer service oriented

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
The compensation for the position is: $66,555.00 - $78,300.00
