Job Description Summary

Lead day to day operations for one of GE Aerospace's strategic distribution centers focused on meeting or exceeding customer needs.

Essential Responsibilities

Role includes all aspects of site management to include:

  • Lead site operations with a focus on defined targets & objectives in safety, delivery, quality, cost, inventory and productivity in that order.

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive waste elimination through use of FLIGHT DECK fundamentals.

  • Evolve strategic plan for the site to continually raise the bar in safety, technology, automation and productivity.

  • Manage and develop GE exempt and hourly unionized workforce with a strong emphasis on strengthening relationships with customers and partnering on improvement activities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years site operations, logistics, manufacturing or related experience) + minimum of 5 years site operations, logistics, manufacturing or related experience
