Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries is looking for an experienced and highly motivated device characterization Engineer to work in the ESD/Latch up/eFuse wafer and product laboratory.
Essential Responsibilities include:
Create automated unit tests, and acceptance tests for the JASPER and ESDTRT applications.
Be a team player in an Agile environment, participating in daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
Interact collaboratively with other team members and internal customers to ensure that requirements are understood.
Participates in discussions of functional requirements, design, testing software code reviews and releases of test software components with other developers.
Must be able to work during normal business hours within the Eastern time zone.
Monday through Friday or as defined by assignment requirements.
Must have reliable internet and technologies to operate in a remote setting.
Other Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
Required Qualifications:
Education – Graduating with bachelor’s degree in EE, software engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent; or foreign equivalent required from an accredited degree program.
Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and proven good academic standing.
Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal)
Travel -Up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior related internship or co-op experience.
Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.
Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range
$63,500.00 - $142,000.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
