Summary of Role:

Our Fab 9 Team, Essex Junction, VT, is seeking a Member of Technical Staff Process Engineer. The individual selected for this position will be part of the Surface Prep Manufacturing Engineering organization with primary responsibilities focused on support and continuous improvement of 200mm semiconductor equipment.

Essential Responsibilities include:

  • Toolset ownership and leadership in the surface prep module
  • Self-motivated to identify continuous improvement ideas and see them through to completion
  • Ability to lead complex problem solving efforts through collaboration
  • Being open-minded and able to think outside of the box
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment with the capability to pivot priorities quickly
  • Shows mastery of a technical discipline, with group-wide recognition as a senior member of a technical team.
  • Initiative and creativity result in high degree of innovation while showing the capacity to solve major problems of an advanced complexity within his/her/their area of expertise.
  • Solves complex, novel and non-recurring problems.
  • Works on cross module and cross site projects to support the company\'s goals
  • Trains, guides, and mentors others in their own work area on technical skills
  • Ability to break down information for internal and external customers in a systematic and communicable manner
  • Leads project teams
  • Ability to create project plans and meet the defined dates
  • Ability to manage his/her/their own time to drive strategic initiatives in the module

Required Qualifications:

  • Education - BS degree in Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Solid State Physics, Chemical or other relevant engineering physical science discipline is required or related field
  • Experience - Minimum of 6 years of semiconductor process engineering experience
  • Specialized knowledge, imaginative thinking and sophisticated analytical techniques
  • Fluency in English Language - written & verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of semiconductor/silicon processing
  • Understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Prior experience working in a semiconductor cleanroom environment
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with diverse teams, customers, internal and external partners

Expected Salary Range

\$91,600.00 - \$170,000.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
