Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a client in Eugene, OR. In this role, you will be primarily involved in handling full cycle accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, and serving as backup to payroll. You will act as the lead AP Specialist on the team.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle of accounts payable to ensure accuracy and timeliness

• Reconcile credit card accounts and address any discrepancies

• Serve as a backup for payroll operations

• Lead the accounts payable team and coordinate tasks

• Facilitate effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders

• Maintain high levels of data entry accuracy

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks

• Ensure accurate coding of all invoices and check runs

• Process and manage invoice operations efficiently

• Conduct account reconciliations periodically to ensure financial integrity.

Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Payable Specialist.

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial records.

• Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes.

• Familiarity with Check Runs, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors.

• Ability to handle Coding Invoices, categorizing them for the correct budget allocation.

• Excellent Data Entry skills, with attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.

• Experience in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are approved and paid on time.

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, report generation, and financial tracking.

• Experience in Payroll management, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
