Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a meticulous Credit Clerk in the finance industry located in Eugene, Oregon. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. Your workplace will be in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are vital.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and processing customer credit applications with precision and speed

• Ensuring accurate maintenance of all customer credit records

• Resolving any customer credit inquiries timely and professionally

• Monitoring customer credit accounts consistently and taking necessary actions on delinquent payments

• Handling accounts payable and processing approximately 60-80 invoices per month

• Posting ACH vendor payments and credit card payments

• Conducting bank reconciliations for multiple accounts

• Preparing checks for mailing and distribution

• Conducting month-end adjustments, journal entries, and fine-tuning of financial statements

• Completing property tax forms and 401K audit reports

• Executing various financial and accounting related projects as needed

• Utilizing MS Office programs and spreadsheets to carry out tasks efficiently

• Leveraging skills in account reconciliation, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, bookkeeping, data entry, Microsoft Excel, month-end close, and payroll

• Using QuickBooks for various financial tasks and responsibilities.

Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential for this role

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations is a crucial task for this position

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping is required for this job

• Strong Data Entry skills are required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must for this role

• Experience with Month End Close is crucial for this position

• Ability to manage Payroll is necessary for this role

• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a key requirement for this job
