LEAD STORE SOLUTIONS REPRESENTATIVE - Eugene/Springfield Based

Travel encompasses Salem to Roseburg which includes, Central Oregon inclusive of coastal Lincoln City, Newport, Florence, stopping at Coos Bay. * All travel is paid for by Harbor and may comprise 40% of the SSR position * Lead *candidates must have prior field merchandising/sales/DSD direct experience.*

Pay: $23 - 27/hr. per hour + all expenses for travel paid; a full benefit package and Harbor perks!

The purpose of the Lead Store Solutions Representative is to ensure that each assigned project is completed in a professional and timely manner. This position is responsible for ensuring that everything possible is completed at each store location to offer the merchandising appearance and organization required by company standards. The Lead Store Solutions Representatives will guide and motivate team members to work together and ensure they're delivering exceptional customer service. This position will also help with training and development of the Store Solutions Representatives team, ordering supplies, providing updates to the Reginal Sales Manager, and other duties to assist management.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible to implement company plan-o-grams in all sets. This includes the selection of products for core sets as outlined in our Merchandising Solutions; rearrange store shelves, or display areas as close to company approved layouts as possible. This includes: merchandising, stocking product, SRP pricing, shelf facing, rotating merchandise and cleaning of product and shelves as needed.
  • Inventory management of supplies in vans and storage areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the customer's stores.
  • Work professionally by maintaining dress and personal appearance codes according to company standards.
  • Assign categories to team members that encourages and ensures cross category training.
  • Monitor potential account problems at the store level and report to the Territory Sales Manager or Regional Sales Manager.
  • Ensure all retail items placed in the store are tagged.
  • Ensure Count of Goods is recorded at each reset.
  • Maintain the Store Solutions Calendar schedule and communicate with team member(s).
  • Provide Regional Sales Manager with weekly updates.
  • Assist in developing layouts for stores as needed.
  • Assume responsibility as main contact for securing merchandising supplies.
  • The lead will check the work of SSR's to ensure category resets are being completed properly.
  • Enter Count of Goods into SharePoint spreadsheet.
  • Order Customer reports for discontinued items and movement reports when requested.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Must possess basic math skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow written instructions.
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Education and Experience:

  • Customer service experience required with direct responsibility for results.
  • Experience in Merchandising.
  • DSD experience preferred.
  • Sales and retail work experience preferred.

Final candidates will be required to pass a drug, criminal background check and MVR check for insurance purposes while on the road for Harbor even though a company vehicle may be used for this position.
