Robert Half Office Assistant in Eugene, Oregon

Description We are seeking an Office Assistant in Eugene, Oregon. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of a testing site, ensuring that testing protocols are adhered to and that all tests are conducted smoothly and efficiently. This role involves a variety of tasks including overseeing the web-based testing process, assisting candidates with check-in, maintaining security, and ensuring that no unauthorized materials are used during testing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the testing process, ensuring all tests are conducted in a smooth and efficient manner

• Assist candidates with the check-in process, ensuring all necessary procedures are followed

• Conduct regular security checks to ensure that no unauthorized materials are used during testing

• Monitor the testing site regularly to prevent cheating

• Respond to emails and manage the start/stop tests using specific apps

• Perform light office duties as required

• Ensure a high level of customer service is maintained at all times

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for various office functions

• Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to company standards and procedures. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word is required

• Experience in office functions and clerical duties is essential

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software will be advantageous

• Ability to perform billing functions and handle correspondence effectively

• Strong customer service skills are necessary

• Prior experience in a similar role as an Office Assistant will be beneficial

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are needed

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
