The Quality Control Research Associate is responsible for the testing and reporting of product conformance to specifications. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work on a dedicated team while gaining career building technical skills. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have an outstanding work ethic with a strong mindset on delivering results and exceeding target manufacturing goals.
This position reports to the Quality Control Manager and is part of the Quality Control Team located in Eugene, Oregon and will be fully on-site. At Abcam, our vision is to be the most influential life sciences company for researchers worldwide.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Perform documented methods required for finished product quality testing
Review manufacturing documentation for process deviations
Communicate analyzed results in detailed written reports.
The essential requirements of the job include:
B.S. in Biology, or closely related discipline OR appropriate years of experience in lieu of a degree
1+ year of experience in similar related field
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Position requires prolonged stints of standing/sitting
Display manual dexterity required to operate office lab equipment
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience with running immunoassays (ELISAs, Western blots, etc.)
