The Subcontract Management Program Manager for the FLRAA program will be responsible for overseeing and managing supplier relationships, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality components and systems. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics within the aerospace industry.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supplier management strategies to support the FLRAA program objectives.

  • Ensure suppliers meet GE Aerospace's safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) standards.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and procurement, to align supplier capabilities with program requirements.

  • Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews and audits, addressing any issues promptly.

  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance performance and reduce costs.

  • Manage risk by identifying potential supply chain disruptions and developing mitigation plans.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and contractual requirements.

  • Provide regular updates to senior management on supplier performance and program status.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, subcontract management, procurement, or supply chain roles within the aerospace industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of managing complex supplier relationships and driving performance improvements.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations.

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software.

  • Experience with military aircraft programs.
