As a Staff Engineer in Engine Systems, you will shape and lead Tech Mat rigs crucial for the Next Gen Advanced Engine. This on-site role in Cincinnati involves leading cross-functional teams to meet program goals, working transparently with various stakeholders to achieve success.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the launch of critical Tech Mat rigs starting this year's design cycle.

  • Execute analysis and evaluation of assigned projects, meeting business standards and product/program requirements with limited guidance.

  • Formulate plans to achieve technical requirements and respond to potential issues proactively.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to assigned teams.

  • Ensure proper documentation of technical data in accordance with engineering policies.

  • Communicate project status, issues, and significant developments effectively.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in systems engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills.

  • Proven ability to resolve complex problems and lead projects.

  • Project management skills and the ability to execute programs effectively.
