[]{#_Hlk15270516}*SUMMARY: *Service, repair and overhaul aircraft to ensure airworthiness. Works under minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Has intermediate knowledge of all areas of the aircraft and assigned work area.
  • Repair, modify, replace or otherwise perform routine aircraft maintenance work in specialized area of aircraft.
  • Develop repair schemes utilizing SRM or Engineering data
  • Remove/reinstall interior linings, cargo bay liners, floor panels, galleys, etc.
  • Perform rigging and operational test of all flight control surfaces including autopilot
  • Remove, troubleshoot, and replace landing gear, engines and air-conditioning systems.
  • Perform heavy sheet metal structural tasks such as removing, repairing or replacing floor beams, longerons, bulkheads, stringers, frames, chords and any other primary structural parts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: *

  • Minimum two (2) years or more as a General Mechanic including cars, boats, helicopters, trains, buses, etc.
  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus!
  • Previous aircraft maintenance experience highly encouraged, but not required.

PHYSICAL EFFORT AND DEXTERITY:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be required to sit, us their hands and arms, talk and hear, and focus on objects up close. The employee will be required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, kneel, and/or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and move up to 25 pounds, occasionally moving up to 50 pounds.

Compensation

The full base pay range for this position is $21.50 -- $39.00 (expressed as hourly for non-exempt), exclusive of benefits or potential bonuses. The lower end of the range represents the target base pay for those beginning or developing in the role. The higher end of the range is intended for those who have mastered the role, with proven significant expertise, high achievement, and specialized skills. If you are hired at ATS, your hourly rate will be based on factors including skills, education and experience. In addition to those factors -- we consider internal equity of our current employees when determining offers. This position is eligible for an annual bonus. We also offer a generous benefits package, as detailed below.
