Insight Global Purchasing Agent in Everett, Washington

Job Description

A customer based in Everett, WA that specializes in the design, development, and manufacturing of ventilation and thermal management systems for aircrafts is currently looking to bring on a qualified Purchasing Agent to develop their supply base. The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials, components, and services required for the production of these ventilation systems. This role involves ensuring timely delivery, cost-effectiveness, and quality compliance of all procured items. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and familiarity with the aerospace industry standards. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge and will be able to speak to the vendors to ensure they are finding the right resources at the best prices.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the aerospace industry.

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, components, and suppliers.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. - Aviation/Aerospace industry experience null
