Volt Management Corp. Quality Inspector in Everett, Washington

Then this is the job for you! * Flexible Day Shift: Monday - Friday * Every other Friday off * Weekly Paycheck * Monthly Employee Appreciation Events * Family Owned * In business for 50+ years Volt is immediately hiring for Quality Inspector in Everett, WA. As a Quality Inspector you will: * Competently use: * Documentation including but not limited to Work Instructions, Operating Procedures, blueprints/drawings/schematics, packing slips, purchase orders, etc. * Tools including but not limited to calipers, micrometer, sunnen gauge, bore gauge, etc. to accurately measure/inspect parts including but not limited to purchased parts, machined parts, raw materials, components, assemblies, subassemblies, units, and end items. * Participate in measurement error studies to determine unwanted variation * Correctly perform in-process inspections of manufactured parts and sub-assemblies * Prepare and test material samples, as well as clean up of tools * Prepare associated paperwork and computer transactions for both accepted and rejected parts per specific instructions * Ensure all calibration standards are maintained * Follow all environmental health and safety policies and procedures, models safe work practices * Responsible for contributing to and supporting a positive and respectful workplace environment. This is a full-time contingent opportunity. The ideal candidate will have: * High School Diploma or equivalent required * 0-2 years' experience as a quality inspector or relevant role in a manufacturing environment * Aerospace or other highly regulated industry preferred * Certified in Flight Safety preferred * Rockwell Eddy Current preferred Pay rate: $26-$29/hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
