Child & Family Service Facilities Coordinator / Tech Assistant - Facilities- (Full-time) in Ewa Beach, Hawaii

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Reports to the Support Services Manager. Responsible for all phases of planning and execution of projects. Plan, organize, coordinate, and control project activities to successfully accomplish project scope and objectives. Supervise project personnel as needed. Report deficiencies and recommend areas for improvement to the Support Services Manager. Assist in proposal efforts to define project scope, boundaries, and technical requirements. Represent the company to client and maintain excellent client relationship. Maintains open communications with the Support Services Manager, team members, and clients on project status, schedule, budget variances, and issues. Support the Facility departmental administrative activities; prepare check requests for Facilities activities, file proper documentation for tracking purposes, assists with the update and maintenance of vendor list, and other software programs that track work orders and safety reports). Other duties as required. Assist Facilities Maintenance Technician as required for projects that require more than one person. Must have an understanding of basic project / construction experience. Flexibility required as work requirements and duties may change. Regular contact with subordinates, other departments, and persons and organizations outside the organization to supply or seek information and reports. Requires use of tact and discretion. May present data and reports at meeting.


EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

  • High school, plus additional courses or specialized training at business or community college, or other formal training facility or program. Requires ability to understand and carry out assigned duties effectively. Knowledge needed such as stenography, office routines, elementary accounting procedures; operation of equipment such as bookkeeping and billing machines, tabulating equipment, transcription machines and related project and construction basics.

EXPERIENCE

  • Over six months, up to and including one year.

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

  • Work schedule is Mon-Fri 8am>5pm.
  • Work outside of the office environment may be required.
  • Position serves as member of the organization's emergency response team which may demand 24-hour response.
  • MS Office skills are required.

OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • T is job requires a valid Hawaii driver's license, a clear driver's abstract, and use of agency vehicle for job related purposes, as needed, as well as a willingness to travel in personal vehicle on an as-needed basis throughout the island.
  • This position is subject to a criminal background investigation and continued employment is contingent on a record clear of convictions.
  • Regular contact with subordinates, other departments, and persons and organizations outside the organization to supply or seek information and reports. Requires use of tact and discretion. May present data and reports at meeting.
