Senior Cost Accountant

Location: Ewing, NJ

Shift/Schedule: M - F, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM - Hybrid (onsite 3 days per week)

Pay rate: $38-$49/hr (Based on experience)

Duration: 3 month contract, with possible extension or conversion to perm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the entire Cost Accounting System SAP ECC-driven business processes (Standard costs, Month-end closing, Quarterly forecast, Annual Plan) for the Supply Chain network.

• Partner with multiple Plants to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the month-end cost accounting close, ensuring all Plants are reconciled in SAP and comply with SOX accounting guidelines.

• Serve as a trusted business partner to the plants, offering guidance and support on HQ cost accounting requirements, assisting with submissions, and proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements.

• Provide master data and standard cost support to all plants and contract manufacturing for plan and periodic price updates, ensuring timely and accurate release of standard costs in SAP.

• Assist in consolidated reporting and analysis for Supply Chain, providing insights into cost drivers and trends.

• Issue Transfer Pricing to International Subsidiaries and provide Price revaluation to Brand Finance to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations ensuring the integrity of the financial records.

• Support internal and external audit processes by presenting documentation, explanations, and data analysis as required.

  Qualifications:

• BS in Accounting/Finance from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 5+ years' experience in cost accounting / financial accounting analysis role, preferably in a multi-product, multi-plant, multi-warehouse environment.

• Corporate and or Divisional HQ Operations Finance experience preferred.
