Position Details:

• Work Location: 1000 Italian Way, Excelsior Springs, MO

• Shift Times: 6pm-6:15am

• Shift Schedule:

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday

• OR

• Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday

Responsibilities:

• Operate both cleaning houses on shift to ensure proper moisture levels and screening percentages are maintained.

• Obtain thorough knowledge of mill flow to ensure semolina extraction and quality standards are met.

• Meet or exceed run efficiency standards (minimize shift downtime).

• Ensure that semolina produced on the shift meet quality standards.

• Complete magnet/tailing logs and Master Sanitation schedules.

• Perform scheduled mill and cleaning house maintenance as directed to ensure mill sanitation conditions meet standards

• Loading/unloading of railcars and trucks with flour, by-products and wheat

• Operation of mill on shift.

• Responsible for ensuring safe, legal and quality product is provided for manufacturing.

• Monitor enrichment feeder rates and record each shift.

• Take bin inventory measurements as the end of each day.

• Tasks performed involve work with equipment and procedures that require familiarity with formal safety procedures, and following them in order to maintain the safety of the work environment.

• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Must have a High School Diploma or a GED.

• Previous Milling skills and knowledge gained through technical training and/hands on experience is preferred.

• Proven ability to utilize computerized equipment to produce the desired quality of mill products.

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and to work at high elevations, in confined areas, in extreme heat and cold and in outside conditions on a regular basis.

• Must be able to navigate numerous flights of stairs/ladders on a continual basis.

• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
