Full-Time Security Officer
Primary Location: Stratham, NH
Rate: $19/hour
Schedule: Mon-Fri 1st shift & Fri-Tues 2nd shift available
Job Summary:
Securitas Security Services is seeking dedicated, responsible, and professional Security Officers to join our team at our client site in Stratham, NH. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, visitors, and property by monitoring surveillance systems, patrolling the area, and responding to incidents or emergencies. The Security Officer will be a visible presence, providing a secure environment while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Surveillance and Monitoring: Regularly monitor security cameras and alarm systems to detect suspicious activities or unauthorized access.
Patrol Premises: Conduct routine patrols of the interior and exterior of the building and surrounding areas to ensure safety and prevent criminal activity.
Access Control: Verify credentials and authorize entry for employees, visitors, and contractors in compliance with company policies.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security breaches, disturbances, emergencies, and alarms. Assist in resolving situations in a calm and effective manner.
Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of incidents, security breaches, and daily activities. Prepare and submit accurate reports to management.
Customer Service: Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and contractors as needed, ensuring a positive and professional interaction.
Emergency Procedures: Assist with emergency evacuations, first aid, and fire drills as necessary, following company protocols.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and emergency protocols in accordance with company policies and local laws.
Collaboration: Work with law enforcement and emergency response teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).
Must have reliable means of transportation (public or private).
Must have the legal right to work in the United States
Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with people in a professional manner.
Ability to remain alert and attentive for long periods, with a keen sense of observation.
Proficient in using security equipment (e.g., surveillance systems, alarm systems, radios, etc.).
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
Must be physically fit and able to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
