Job Title: Senior Budget Analyst

This position will support the Fighters & Bombers Directorate. Duties include:

• Be proficient in the following financial systems and tools: MOCAS, GAFS, and SMART, Project Management Resources Tools (PMRT), CRIS, ABSS, DTS, SDW, EDA, FMSuite, CCaR, and Web CCaR.

• Be proficient in Web CCaR with the following tasks: obligation and expenditure forecasting, reconciliation, loading budgets, preparing and initiating target loads and funding documents specifically PRs, MORDs, MIPRs, AF Form 616s, POs.

• Be proficient in FMSuite and perform tri-annual reviews.

• Conduct research and analysis on open documents , utilizing Web CCaR, SDW, and CRIS; and working with DFAS to research ULOs/NULOs.

• Provide financial management support in the areas of financial analysis, cost estimating and program integration; and have an understanding of appropriation law (time, purpose and amount), and PPBE.

• Provide assistance to the Directorate Chief Financial Officer and the entire PEO portfolio; and keep senior management informed of progress of programs and advise of any significant financial developments that may impact mission.

• Demonstrate expertise in monitoring the flow of USAF funds via Congressional actions, program authorization , budget authority by utilizing the USAF Congressional domain and AFM System.

• Provide recommendations , identify sources of program shortfalls, prepare below threshold reprogramming/above threshold reprogramming packages, prepare realignment requests, and provide policy guidance on all USAF appropriations. The Contractor shall perform daily verification of forecast accuracy in Web CCaRS.

• Complete a monthly review of all MIPRs and MORDs to ensure validity, as well as ensuring the required documentation is attached in order to pass audit reviews.

Required Skills/Education:

Fifteen (15) years' experience in functional area and possess a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to functional area; or a relevant Master's degree and twelve (12) years' experience in functional area; or twenty (20) years in functional area without a degree. At least five (5) years of that experience must have been performed on DoD programs/projects.
