Description

This position is responsible for the campus admissions functions. This position assists prospective students through the admissions process, from application to enrollment. Enrollment coaches must be dynamic and possess the ability to interpret and apply appropriate rules to varying student-specific situations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work with prospective students and applicants via phone, email, and text. Independently makes admission decisions about academic requirements.

• The enrollment coach's role involves utilizing tools like Recruit and Colleague to assist applicants in the admissions process. They also provide basic financial aid information, conduct campus tours, review transcripts for necessary admissions requirements, determine the need for and schedule placement testing, and make decisions about admitting applicants into GMC. Scheduling students for orientations and registration appointments with the graduation coach

• Other duties as assigned.

*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications

Education

Required: Associate degree or 2+ years of directly related experience

Preferred: Bachelor's degree

Experience

Required: One (1) or more years in customer service

Preferred: College admissions experience

Skills

Required: C ustomer service, strong written and verbal skills, phone communication, and organizational skills

Preferred: Experience working with Recruit and Colleague
