Job Description

Provide continuous improvement to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security

 Collaborate with engineers to support requests for customer projects

 Support the requests of the production and development teams to solve any problems related with the Linux servers;

 Develop and oversee the backup, replication and disaster recovery strategies;

 Maintain documentation for procedures, configurations and programs;

 Manage and maintain the overall application and database health and administration of the DEASIL/LPR program

 Ensure the Linux servers adhere to NIST and Government Security agency standards;

 Perform server hardware maintenance and upgrades;

 Maintain the Red Hat Satellite system management solution for deployment and patching

 Install, configure and maintain servers in a mixed Windows and Linux environment;

 Maintain/monitor the health of the Linux servers through both automated and manual processes

 Provide guidance and direction for Linux system Journeyman and senior level colleagues

Skills and Requirements

-Active Secret Clearance & ability obtain DEA Suitability

-5 years of Senior Linux System Admin experience

-Hands-on experience using RedHat Satellite Server and RedHat IDM

-Experience with RHEL version 8/9

-Experience with Linux scripting/patching

-Linux Automation experience (ansible or other)

-Experience launching a new machine and hardening it -Windows System Admin experience

-Cloud Experience null
