All aspects of commercial beekeeping. Increase colonies and raise queen bees. Prepare bee colonies for honey production. Extract and package honey. Make splits. Build and repair new hives. Prepare bees for winter. Feed, medicate and monitor bee colonies. Clean and repair equipment and facility.

A general work week is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, because of the complexity of the crop conditions workers may be requested to work long days as well as on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, depending upon the conditions of the commodities being produced. Therefore, hours above 40 per week may be offered but are not guaranteed.
