Standex Electronics Inc. IT Manager - Magnetics in Fairfield, Ohio
What You'll Do The IT Manager, Magnetics will be responsible for overseeing all IT operations for Standex Electronics in North America (NA), including managing a team of IT specialists, implementing technology strategies, and ensuring the reliability and security of our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for driving innovation and efficiency through technology. The IT Manager will work in close coordination with the Standex Enterprise IT team, Electronics IT members globally and the service desk. The position will be based in Fairfield, OH but will include travel to other Electronics NA sites to support the IT Specialist Team, new acquisitions, and other projects. Lead and manage a team of IT specialists, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success and professional development. Develop and implement IT strategies and initiatives aligned with Standex International and Standex Electronics overall objectives and business needs. Oversee the day-to-day operations for IT in North America, including network administration, system maintenance, and user support. Manage security and availability of business applications specific to Electronics. Note, this does not include administration of ERP or CRM applications, due to the specialized nature of them. In collaboration with the Enterprise team, ensure the security and integrity of the company's IT infrastructure, including data protection, cybersecurity measures, and compliance with relevant regulations. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and systems to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation within the organization. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand their IT needs and requirements and provide strategic guidance and support. Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships to optimize costs and ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions. Oversee compliance of NIST 800-171 / CMMC. Assist as an escalation point for service desk tickets or ticket overflow, if necessary Follow all safety and security policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. What You'll Bring Must be U.S. citizen Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leading successful IT teams and projects. What We Value Strong technical background in administration of networking, cybersecurity, Windows servers, PCs and Office 365 Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Solid understanding of IT best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to include working familiarity with NIST 800-53 / 800-171 concepts. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic IT plans that align with business goals and drive innovation and growth. Experience and temperament to handle highly confidential information/material. Excellent communication (both verbal and written) and organizational skills.
