We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Surgical Dental Assistant to join our implant center. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of dental instruments and procedures and will assist our dentists in both surgical and restorative treatments. This role requires adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and CDC guidelines, and involves significant patient interaction, inventory management, and lab work.

Locations: Fairless Hills, PA, Media, PA, Monroe Township, NJ and Brick, NJ. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during a variety of treatment procedures including implant surgeries and restorative dental care.

  • Maintaining inventory control in the operatories where treatment is rendered by the Provider

  • Adhering to OSHA, HIPAA, CDC and guidelines

  • Patient interactions related to scheduling, follow up treatment and record keeping

  • Maintaining public area appearance

  • Perform basic lab procedures, such as taking impressions, pouring models, and preparing cases for external labs.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED required

  • NJ RDA or PA EFDA License required.

  • Experience with working with an Oral Surgeon and implant surgery required

  • Experience using Dentrix, Outlook, Word Excel preferred

  • Easily able to learn new technologies and systems required

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
