Your Impact

Lead the day-to-day operations of assigned area with responsibility for producing product and achieving production Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and Schedules.

Here’s where you’ll demonstrate your proficiencies:

  • Drive daily output to meeting production needs.

  • Keep management, schedulers, and buyers advised of production status/issues and develop countermeasures as required.

  • Identify and lead continuous improvement efforts to include execution of FBS tools through kaizen events.

  • Ensure Kanban cards are accurately pulled and processed. Communicate inventory issues to achieve goals.

  • Coordinate activities for the team and labor usage between departments.

  • Promote collaboration while communicating to cell associates and support groups on production, material, quality, delivery, and equipment related issues.

  • Responsible for planning and scheduling of projects, area goals, training and defining new processes, continual improvement, and other future issues.

  • Manage disciplinary issues, review timesheets/attendance, and schedule vacations.

  • Responsible for performance appraisals of assigned employees and recommend appropriate status changes and/or salary increases.

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related area is preferred. Additional work experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

  • Demonstrated ability leading production teams in a lean manufacturing environment.

  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes, products, procedures, methods, and systems as they relate to the manufacturing function.

  • Experience with Kaizen and Kanban processes and procedures, and with human resource management principles.

  • Interpersonal, communication, computer and sophisticated problem resolution skills required.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience required

Working Conditions:

  • Regularly exerting up to 20 lbs of force and occasionally up to 50 lbs.

  • Bending body downward and forward at the waist

  • Standing for sustained periods of time.

  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 67,700.00 - 125,900.00. Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors, including, but not limited to: job-related knowledge; skills; experience; and other eligibility factors such as geographic location. The Total Rewards package includes competitive base pay and an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance programs, and several programs that provide for both paid and unpaid time away from work.
