Family Service Association - Fall River Recruiter Per Diem in Fall River, Massachusetts

Family Service Association is seeking a per diem Recruiter.  

Job Summary:

Provide recruiting assistance during peak periods of open positions.  Recruit high caliber talent to meet the diverse and inclusive staffing requirements of the Agency functions via internal and external applicants.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Identify and source candidates through internal and external channels ensuring positions are filled with high caliber individuals. Proactively engage with leadership teams to establish a common understanding of our Talent Acquisition processes and service level standards.

  • Provides qualified pre-screened candidates to hiring manager, schedules and coordinates interviews and manages multiple priorities.

  • Influence and drive the implementation of talent acquisition plans and strategies, assuring a qualified, diverse pool of candidates to fill open positions as well as talent gaps identified through the succession planning process.

  • Implement diverse recruitment strategies .

  • Execute strategic and tactical sourcing strategies to ensure top talent is identified and acquired in the shortest time possible.

  • Keep up to date on latest market trends, research and tools/technologies to increase representation for all our positions.

  • Source candidates and build rapport/relationships through social networking, job boards, search engines, advertising, cold calling, events and other creative channels

  • Maintain and monitor applicant tracking systems in order to keep applicant data up to date.

  • Maintain open communication with Director of Human Resources and Program Directors. Provide hiring managers on-going status for all hiring activities related to their open roles.

  • Respond to reasonable expectations of the Agency and/or supervisor.

    Education and Experience:

  • Associates Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must have 2-3 years of recruiting experience with exposure to various areas of the recruiting functions from sourcing, interviewing and thoroughly qualifying and vetting candidates. Health and Human Service recruiting preferred.  Must be highly responsive and detailed oriented. Experience with applicant tracking software programs.  Experience working with HR database required. Familiarity with online job websites and internet recruitment.                                                                                                                                           

  • Effective oral and written communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
