Robert Half is offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Fallon, Nevada. This position is within the gambling industry where you will be handling a considerable volume of check runs and assisting with cash drops. You will work in a team environment and your primary responsibility will be to manage and process accounts payable.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process invoices and expense reports with precision and timeliness.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation related to accounts payable.

• Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers.

• Coordinate with corporate accounts payable for all activities and operations.

• Adhere to internal controls and company policies and procedures relating to the accounts payable function.

• Reconciliation of accounts payable-related balance sheet accounts.

• Post accounts payable and expense-related month-end journals.

• Assist in counts as needed and provide financial and administrative support to the accounting group.

• Handle data entry tasks and use Microsoft Excel for various functions.

• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Proficient in Data Entry and Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Knowledge of the Gambling Industries

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• High level of integrity and trustworthiness

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
