DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Vitalant is seeking a Hospital Distribution Technician dedicated to making a positive difference. What to Expect Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6am-6:30pm (36 hours a week) OR 8am-6:30pm (30 hours a week)

Must be able to take on call if needed.

This position offers on-the-job training that will qualify you for a promotion to Specialist + pay increase within the first 6 months!

As a Hospital Distribution Technician you'll get to: * Receive, prepare, and ship routing, ASAP and STAT orders of blood and blood products, conducting a visual inspection of each product prior to shipment to ensure order accuracy. * Professionally and safely deliver products to Vitalant customers in company vehicle. * Communicate with customers regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability. * Maintain accurate hospital service records for transactions and process fees. * Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and vehicle work areas.

Requirements * High School diploma or GED required * Valid in-state driver's license * Six months of customer service experience required * Prior healthcare industry experience preferred * Able to lift 40lbs
