Otter Tail Corporation Industrial Maintenance Technician Over Nights in Fargo, North Dakota

Schedule, Pay & Benefits

Overnight Shift 5:45P - 6:15AP

  • 12-hour shifts

Pay - $30.00 plus a $2.00 shift differential plus $3.00 weekend premium pay for Friday, Saturday and Sunday + Overtime

  • Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday (48 hours)

  • Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday (36 hours)

Training takes place during the day Mon. - Fri. 7A -4P 1st 3-months

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

YOUR ROLE:

As an Maintenance Technician, your role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining equipment, and promoting a safe work environment. You support production schedules, conduct repairs, and communicate effectively with the team. Monitoring equipment, conducting maintenance tasks, and addressing safety requirements are key responsibilities. You also handle routine maintenance, ensure the functionality of motorized equipment, and troubleshoot electrical systems. Sharing your expertise, providing training, and optimizing repair approaches contribute to productivity. Accurate documentation and active participation in safety and team meetings help maintain strong internal relationships. Your dedication ensures the facility operates smoothly, benefiting the production team and the organization as a whole.

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or better

  • Previous manufacturing experience

  • Technical degree in any related field preferred

  • Mechanically inclined
