As an Internal Auditor, our role is to provide independent and objective assessments of the bank-s operations and controls. We ensure that processes are efficient, compliant with regulations, and aligned with the bank-s strategic goals. By identifying risks and recommending improvements, we help safeguard the bank-s assets and reputation, ultimately contributing to its long-term success and stability.
This is an in-office position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct specialized internal audits, including office visits.
Support FIBT-s internal controls over financial statement reporting (ICFR) program.
Prepare reports of audit issues and make recommendations to Internal Audit Manager.
Monitor for unresolved issues and perform follow-up correspondence until issues are closed by Management.
Qualifications:
One to three years of related experience in banking or financial organization; bachelor-s degree in accounting, finance, business, or similar field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor or other similar industry certification in specialized area preferred.
Prior experience with in-depth audit knowledge within specialized area preferred.
