Job Title: AR / Collections Analyst

Job Description

Accounts Receivable Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the collection of direct premiums.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The collection of direct premiums from brokers and maintaining receivables on a current basis across our various underwriting systems.

• Follow up on past-due payments.

• Maintain and update as needed client billing information.

• Identify collection issues and assist in appropriate resolution.

• Reconcile daily cash applications.

• Reconcile and resolve differences in broker accounts.

• Research and resolve unapplied cash items.

• Process cancellations for non-payment of premiums.

• Process cash in the Accounts Receivable application.

• Special projects as needed.

Hard Skills

  • Basic understanding of AR / Collections

  • Computer Skills - Excel (Pivots / VLOOKUPs)

Soft Skills

  • Communication - Written / Verbal

  • Someone who cares / willingness to learn

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Months

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Farmington, Connecticut.
