Description

We are providing an opportunity for a Finance Manager in Farmington, Connecticut, United States. This role involves the development and management of various budgeting and forecasting deliverables, as well as assisting with month-end analysis and financial reporting. This is a short-term contract role offering an engaging and dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage various budgeting and forecasting deliverables

• Assist with month-end analysis and financial reporting

• Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills to manipulate and analyze data

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure financial goals are met

• Monitor and manage financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior management

• Implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency

• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities

• Collaborate with other departments to gather information necessary for financial analysis

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Requirements • Candidate must possess comprehensive understanding and experience in budgeting and forecasting.

• Proficiency in financial analysis is essential for this role.

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel, including its advanced features, is required.

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is necessary.

• Experience in a managerial role within the finance department is desirable.

• Demonstrable experience with financial reporting and financial data analysis.

• Knowledge of financial software applications is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
