Who are we looking for? GHD has a fantastic opportunity for an Industrial Water (IW) Technical Leader who can be based from any of our Midwest or Northeast offices. The Industrial Water Technical Leader is responsible for the technical growth and execution of the Industrial Water market in the US Midwest and Northeast Regions but also supporting Industrial Water growth in the Americas. This growth will be accomplished in close coordination with the IW Market Leader and through strategic plan input and execution, tactical pipeline development and the organizational management responsibility of the performance and growth of the IW market across the Regions and Americas. The Industrial Water Technical Leader will ensure that GHD maintains a leading position in client service, business development efforts and project execution. The Industrial Water Technical Leader is accountable for delivering results as outlined in the overall IW Business Plan and the Midwest and Northeast Regional Plans. This includes but is not limited to achieving/exceeding KPIs for the Business Group through utilization and project performance, achievement of revenue and growth targets, and maintaining a strong pipeline of clients and projects. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: * Update the development and implementation of the Industrial Water Market Business Plan that includes alignment to Industrial Water lifecycle organizational structure to allow for the successful acquisition and performance of Industrial Water work. * Ensure a coordinated approach to maintaining client management and project financial systems to include capturing contact data, meetings with key clients and the solid performance of Industrial Water services. * Promote relationships with existing and potential clients in the Region. Increase business by improving client relationships, strengthening repeat business, and completing successful projects. Expand the client base by promoting and successfully performing GHD's services. * Perform efficient regional business development relating to the Industrial Water market, while adhering to GHD's Winning Work Process to promote growth and sustained profitability. * Efficiently manage Industrial Water projects, including the development of a successful Industrial Water project management structure within the Region, to promote growth and sustained profitability. * Collaborate with other Regional Market Sector Leaders to position, win and successfully perform multidisciplinary projects within the Region and across the Americas. * Represent and promote GHD at networking events, professional and industrial associations, society meetings, conferences, and tradeshows as required. * Technical leadership on projects as required. Direction and input on major tenders/bids or proactive client proposals. * Identify areas of practice within the Regions and across Americas, based on client feedback or market trends (service lines) that require enhancement to meet present or future opportunities.
