Mango Languages Senior Agile Software Project Manager in Farmington Hills, Michigan

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects using Agile principles. Ensure team alignment, facilitate communication, remove obstacles, and provide strategic leadership while managing product documentation, release processes, and stakeholder feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

Agile Project Leadership:

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).

  • Mentor team members and drive process improvement using Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.)

Stakeholder Communication & Team Alignment:

  • Act as the primary liaison between development teams, product stakeholders, and leadership. Establish and maintain clarity of expectations from stakeholders to ensure priorities are well-defined and understood.

  • Report progress, risks, and blockers while recommending solutions to ensure alignment.

Release Management:

  • Lead release planning, ensuring clear timelines, risk management, and delivery of high-quality releases.

  • Maintain and manage project artifacts, including roadmaps and release notes.

Product Documentation & Backlog Management:

  • Ensure requirements, features, and tasks are documented and up-to-date in tools like Jira, Notion, Confluence, etc.

  • Lead backlog refinement and review product documentation (e.g., user stories, specs).

Strategic Oversight:

  • Align project goals with business objectives and manage cross-team dependencies.

  • Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and delivery timelines.

Feedback Facilitation:

  • Coordinate stakeholder and internal teams feedback to ensure product alignment with business needs.

  • Organize retrospectives to identify and implement improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with Business Analysis

  • Experience in startups and/or high-growth environments.

  • 5+ years in Agile Project Management, Scrum Master, or similar roles in software development.

  • Strong expertise with Agile frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Notion).

  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multi-team projects in fast-paced environments.
