Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time Security Officers to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and team members. Shifts:

1. Wednesdays (4:00 pm-10:00 pm) & Thursday-Sunday (3:45 pm-12:00 am)

2. Tuesday-Saturday (7:45 pm-4:15 am)

Payrate is $20.00 per hour + $1.50 for any hours worked between 12:00am-8:00am

What will you do?

• Greet guests positively and timely,demonstrating skill in dealing with customer complaints and defusing charged situations

• Conduct cash escorts and patrol parking lot and ancillary buildings as assigned

• Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity

• Ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance to the gaming floor

• Maintaincrowd control anda secure presence on the gaming floor

• Operate motorized vehicle when necessary

More about you

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Must possess a NYS Security Guard license.

• Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.

• Ability to work across departmental lines with guests and vendors

• Previous security supervisory or law enforcement experience preferred

• Gaming background a plus

Physical requirements

• Requires the ability to see, hear, walk, run, sit, squat, bend, reach and grasp objects throughout the shift in all weather conditions.

• Must be able to carry up to 50 pounds.
