Delaware North Security Shift Supervisor, Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York

The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for full-time and part-time Security Supervisors to join our team at Finger Lakes Gaming in Farmington, New York. If your talents would lend to skilfully carrying supervision and management of Security Department operations in the absence of the Assistant Director and Director, this could be the next play for you. SHIFTS:

  1. Full Time: Wednesday-Sunday (11:45 pm-8:00 am)

  2. Part Time: Monday & Tuesday (11:45 pm-8:00 am)

  3. Part Time: Monday-Tuesday (3:45 pm-12:00 am) & Friday-Saturday (7:45 am-4:00 pm)

Pay

$23.00 - $23.00 / hour

What will you do?

  • Supervise security officers on an assigned shift and document disciplinary actions

  • Conducts cash escorts and maintain crowd control as required

  • Observe, handle, and report procedural violations and illegal activity

  • Maintain a secure presence on the gaming floor and ensure that identification is checked for proper admittance

  • Defuse guest profanity to ensure a friendly environment, and investigate incidents and compose written reports

  • Operate motorized vehicle when necessary

More about you

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to work across departmental lines with guests and vendors

  • Previous security supervisory or law enforcement experience preferred

  • Gaming background a plus

  • Must have a valid driver’s license, pass an MVR check, and take a drug test.

  • Must possess a New York state Security Guard license

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
