Position Purpose:
The Transportation Driver is essential in providing safe, timely transportation for PACE participants, including meals, medical equipment, and pharmacy items. This role ensures the overall cleanliness and safety of the assigned vehicle while effectively communicating any safety concerns.
What You Will Do:
Transport participants to medical appointments and activities.
Maintain vehicle cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations.
Provide assistance to participants during boarding and disembarking.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to adapt to schedule changes.
Promote a welcoming and supportive environment for all participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred.
Valid driver's license in good standing; CDL with passenger endorsement preferred
At least one year of experience working with frail or elderly populations; training provided for less experienced candidates.
CPR certification (specific requirements vary by location).
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
