CAVO is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team! The Fiber Installation Technician will perform residential and/or multi-dwelling unit cable television, high speed data and/or telephone installations from the tap to the customer premise equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner, to client specifications.

$15 per hour

We provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and tuition assistance.

What you’ll do…

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines.

• Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

• Ensure services operate within prescribed parameters.

• Attempt to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.

• Complete paperwork accurately and report/record work order status updates.

• Perform Customer service duties by:

• Greeting customers in the home while conducting a walk through;

• Reviewing all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement;

• Interacting with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;

• Educating the customer regarding product and service usage.

  Who we are looking for…

• Minimum 18 years old

• Valid U.S. driver's license (Required)

• Authorized to work in the United States for this company

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Comfortable working in tight spaces, such as a crawl space or attic of a house

• Comfortable working through inclement weather

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

• Effective communication skills

• Able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends, as needed

• Able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
