Eaton Corporation Sales Manager - Motor Control Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Eaton’s Electrical Sector and Motor Control Center (MCC) division is currently seeking a MCC Sales Manager to join team. The role will be based at our Fayetteville, NC facility. The position is eligible for a hybrid work setup and does offer relocation assistance.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $120,075 - $176,110 a year.

What you’ll do:

In this role you will, Manage MCC Product Line volume and price mix, to ensure the product line meets or exceeds top line, price, and market share targets. This includes order negotiation, quotation activities, providing daily commercial guidance and technical support, as well as other customer requested support functions as required to properly support profitable sales growth in line with product line and division objectives. Counsel and train Sales Engineers while monitoring efficiency and productivity of sales marketing team. Identify changing market conditions, including competitive activities that affect the product line and implement actions that will correct and/or take advantage of these market conditions or competitor actions. Reports all monthly product line metrics including sales, orders, backlog, segment/channel price bands, realized price, and negotiation activity.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Guides and motivates the sales engineers to secure manufacturable and profitable orders in the assemblies and OEM markets.\

  • Advises sales engineers in decision making process. Gives advice that allow the sales engineers to develop a solution and implement action plan to resolution or conclusion.

  • Provides training for sales engineers in the fundamental tasks of their present position. Offers additional training that allows expansion of sales engineer's responsibility and provides foundation for career advancement.

  • Represents the product line in customer presentations, and marketing / objectives / financial presentations. Represents and protects the product line in decisions concerning business policy, commercial concessions, and compromises.

  • Advises management, engineering, and product development on market changes in customer requirements of service, product features, industry standards, and competitive product offerings.

  • Provides the latest tools (systems, hardware, and software) to enhance sales engineer’s efficiency and productivity.

  • Provides input to strategic planning, road-mapping, and profit planning processes.

  • Completes monthly reporting duties of NEMA reporting, price band, backlog, and forecasting by the 8th day of each month.

  • Leads the price band objective achievement for the product line by developing price strategies to meet profit plan needs. Develops the segment and channel price band for annual profit planning purposes.

  • Interacts directly with Champs organization and field sales to execute on MCC orders annual plan and monthly forecasts.

  • Works directly with Plant Operations to prioritize customer order milestones such as drawing dates, ship dates, etc.

  • Works closely with Satellite organization to support quick ship opportunities and market share growth.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required.

  • Minimum 5 years of field sales or product industry experience required

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution

  • Manager of people experience

  • Electrical product industry experience
