Maintenance Technician
HIROTEC Manufacturing America, located in Fayetteville, Tennessee, is part of the HIROTEC Group, headquartered in Hiroshima, Japan. HIROTEC Group delivers body-in-white closures, exhaust systems, flexible closure tooling, and stamping dies to automotive customers around the world. Currently, we are seeking a Maintenance Technician to become a part of the HIROTEC team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty machinery.
Installing new production equipment.
Create and implement maintenance standard operating procedures based on specific machine knowledge.
Performs mechanical repairs and removes defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, and hand/power tools.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts, using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools.
Work with 2D and 3D computer-aided design and manufacturing software such as CAD or CAM.
Repair methods, including welding, inserting, or replacing items, will need to be made with consideration to quality, cost, and delivery.
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Complete required documentation, manually or by data entry
Organize safe maintenance principles for regulating and scheduling breakdowns.
Equipment/asset care and Planned Preventive Maintenance processes and procedures.
Prioritize and complete daily work orders.
Overall plant maintenance and other directives as requested by management.
Participate in 5S, Quality, Safety, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing activities.
Comply with Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, procedures, and instructions.
Maintain and improve high product quality by setting/managing proper welding conditions.
Other duties and projects may be assigned based on the operational objectives of the company.
Ideal candidate should have a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing/production environment; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
