TEKsystems Medical Insurance Revenue Specialist – Remote After Training in Federal Way, Washington

Medical Insurance Revenue Specialist – Entry Level

Start Date: 7/15/2024

Pay: $18-19/hr (based on resume & interview)

Contract Length: 6 month contract to hire

Training Hours (first 2-3 weeks): 8am-4:30pm Mon-Fri

Training Location: Federal Way, WA 98001

Training is in person for the first 2-3 weeks, from there, employees can work remotely based on performance

Regular Hours: 3 schedule options are available – must be flexible within at least 2 of the 3 schedule options provided.

· Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm

· Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

· Mon-Fri 1pm-9:30pm

Job Description:

Candidates will be cross-trained for multiple positions within our organization – job descriptions for each potential role are listed below. Specialization will be determined based on skills and demand, flexibility to be placed in each different position is necessary in this role.

Provider Web Representative Job Description:

· This position is responsible for granting and maintaining provider web portal access for ROPS and Field teammates.

· This position will be responsible for setting up teammates as users in insurance payors web portals.

· This setup will allow other users to process claims and register new patients.

· Working through payor/provider websites to get access set up for internal employees, occasional phone calls to insurance companies will be involved.

Cash Application Specialist Job Description:

· This position focuses on payments and applying them to the correct customer accounts.

· The duties of a cash applications specialist are to manually review all remittance from customers or clients, and match the payments to the appropriate invoices to make sure payment has been received.

Enrollment Specialist Job Description:

· Responsible for enrolling Healthcare Insurance providers electronically for claims,remittance, and electronic funds transfer.

· Individuals in this role work with insurance payers to research and resolve enrollment opportunities and partner with various Revenue Operations teams to achieve department goals.

· While research and resolution is often conducted through online tools there are instances where phone and direct email is required.

Imaging Specialist Job Description:

· Responsible for documentation of medical records and other pertinent information.

· Will scan, file, sort both manually and electronically.

Qualifications / What we are looking for:

· Minimum of six (6) months corporate office experience required

· Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook required

· Data Entry Experience filling out online forms

· Savvy in navigating through the internet and provider portals, critical thinking

· Customer Service Skills

Preferred:

· Medical / Healthcare Industry experience

· Medical receptionist, patient access representative, member service representative experience.
