The US Commercialization Learning organization is the catalyst for empowering the field force to drive transformative customer experiences that give patients access to BMS' medications. The MAx Commercialization Learning Team is a dynamic organization that is focused on strategic and executional excellence. As an Associate Director, you will be working among the best in your profession and will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented and dedicated professionals committed to advancing learnings. The MAx Commercialization Learning team is currently seeking a talented training professional who possesses the skills needed to ensure both the immediate and long-term success of training multiple market access field teams. The Associate Director will be responsible for driving best-in-class training for PASS field teams and Account Directors, so they have the skills and knowledge to drive patient access.

This is a remote position and the selected candidate will report into the Director, MAx Commercialization Learning with the primary responsibility for aligning the strategic learning plans to BMS organizational goals, MAx Leadership expectations, and business objectives and strategies. The Associate Director will work collaboratively across a fast paced and complex matrix organization including the MAx Commercial Business Unit and the WW Training Centre of Excellence to appropriately address business needs and ensure that we deliver on our objective of demonstrating value to our customers. Specifically, partner with matrix leaders, including but not limited to: Access Strategy, MAx operations, PASS Program Management, MAx field leadership, and other functional leaders and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive training plans for Neuropsych MAx field teams that include, but are not limited to: new hire training, product training, capability building, skill development, business acumen, and matrix collaboration/ways of working.

  • Oversee the design and delivery of learning programs leveraging our CoE and technology for engagement and retention

  • Develop and execute interactive workshops and trainings tracks for MAx learners at both market access and sales POA meetings

  • Partner with MAx field leadership and Access Strategy to identify and prioritize field team skills and capabilities development

  • Assess and analyze the effectiveness of assigned training programs and initiatives utilizing Kirkpatrick Model

  • Evaluate and provide constructive feedback on learning design documents and final deliverables

  • Participate in the elevation of team culture fostering connectivity, empowerment, diverse and inclusive learning, and behaviors

  • Proactively identify educational opportunities for field teams based on evolving market access landscape with a strong focus on Medicaid

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree required. Master's Degree/MBA preferred

  • Significant and recent market access and field or account management experience highly preferred

  • Experience in training (>2 years) required

  • Deep knowledge of market access and payer landscape

  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and respectfully challenge

  • Proficient understanding of adult learning principles and learning design

  • Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills, including previous experience leading launches, POA and Training Workshops

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of market access customer-facing roles and responsibilities

  • Experience operating in a complex cross-matrix environment and effectively connecting and collaborating with key matrix team members including Marketing, Strategy and Operations, Legal, Regulatory, & Compliance, etc.

  • Proven performance with a history of meeting or exceeding goals

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and solutions-oriented leader

  • Proficiency in MS Teams, Microsoft Office - Power Point, Excel and Word and other applications

  • Ability to travel 20% for multiple meeting engagements (e.g., Managers Meetings, National Plan of Action Meetings, various Training Initiatives, etc.)

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $156,000 - $211,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed.
