The University of Findlay Part-Time Faculty of Criminal Justice in Findlay, Ohio

The University of Findlay's Department of Justice Sciences is accepting applications for a part-time instructor in the College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences. We are looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable instructor to teach, at a minimum, introductory and lower-level courses both seated and online formats in criminal justice. Individuals willing to develop and deliver engaging course materials and meet the department's academic standards, provide mentorship and guidance to undergraduate students, collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance the learning environment and engage in professional development activities to stay current in the field of criminal justice. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of providing a student-centered education and fostering an environment of professional development and scholarship.

The successful candidate must have a master's degree in criminal justice or a closely related discipline. Consideration will also be given to individuals with tested professional experience in the criminal justice field. The candidate should possess strong written and oral communication skills, demonstrated ability to work effectively and collegially with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and a commitment to teaching excellence and student mentorship.
