Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18.00/hr

What’s a typical day as a Document Processing Specialist? You’ll be:

• Preparing mailing labels for overnight packages.

• Validating all signatures on executed documents and submitting them to management for final signatures and notarization.

• Ensuring foreclosure close and bill tasks are opened.

• Processing payment reversals and monitoring daily funds received report.

• Following up on the status of documents sent for recording.

• Sending partial claims to FHA vendor and tracking their receipt of recorded partial claims documents.

• Mailing accurate and executed loan modification documents to clients, borrowers, and investors.

• Submitting all required documents to the claims department.

• Ensuring additional documentation for short sale and deeds in lieu closing packages is provided.

• Completing post-closing audits to confirm the appropriate signatures and notarizations on settlement documents.

• Verifying and uploading required documents into the imaging system.

• Providing closing status updates.

• Contacting attorneys, authorized agents, title companies, property preservation vendors, and homeowners to provide or receive closing status updates.

• Processing invoices and coordinating resolution of billing issues.

• Ensuring proper recording of deed in lieu documents and resolving rejected documents.

• Maintaining regular and punctual attendance.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.

• Have at least 2 years of experience working in an office environment.

• Have experience working in the mortgage industry (a plus).
