About the Position:

The SBA Servicing Specialist I will perform daily functions required to support the Small Business Lending departments servicing and processing operations. The Servicing Specialists primary day-to-day duties include all aspects of portfolio management as it relates to the proper payment, maintenance, and administration of the loan. The Responsibilities below encompass the traditional functions of a loan operations representative. However, involvement with any or all of the functions described below will vary with staffing needs of the department, and individual experience/proficiency in administration of the same.

What You Will Do:

• Participate in the loan closing and booking process within the core platforms nCino and Loan Manager.
  • Ensures compliance with internal process controls developed around the initial loan booking, and the 2 day quality control audits post-closing
• Participate in daily cash management and servicing activity, including:
  • Proper system boarding and verification functions, ensuring segregation of duties asdefined by SOX
  • Process disbursement requests for multiple disbursement and construction related loans
  • Process rate changes and accrual adjustments accurately and according to SOX requirements
  • Interface with the Accounting department to balance, research, and report activities related to cash management
  • Maintain monthly guaranty fee reporting and adherence on behalf of the department
• Perform system and individual loan maintenance in conjunction with approved servicing requests and actions, ensuring compliance with SOX controls accordingly
• Create or review report extracts from PCFS detailing the status of outstanding loan docs and tickler related items
• Provide exceptional customer service while adhering to Bank/departmental standards
• Ensure customers service initiatives are being adhered to according to Bank/departmental standards
• Other duties as assigned

What Were Looking For:

• Two years of experience in commercial/SBA lending
• Proficient in general office software, particularly Microsoft Office and the use of databases
• Working knowledge of PCFS - Loan Manager preferred
• Working knowledge of nCino preferred
• Working knowledge of 1502 preparation and reporting via FTA Dashboard preferred
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and terms
• Proficient in general office software, particularly Microsoft Office and the use of databases
• Ability to master new skills and tasks quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
