Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the VP of Clinical Field Operations for Optum

  • Develop and create internal and external meeting materials, partner directly with other leaders on behalf of SVP to lead drive successful completion of cross company efforts and own team onsite meetings, clinical town halls, clinical client content creation and facilitation

  • Support the creation and maintenance of the clinical team staffing models, working closely with the finance team on budgeting & forecasting and the field team with clinical efficiency tool support

One year of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to one year of experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently licensed as an RN in the State of New York

  • 3+ years of experience in health care industry, business, or public policy

  • Experienced in creating professional presentations and developing messaging around business strategies

  • Experienced in developing work plan to effectively manage projects

  • Solid PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)

  • Proven outstanding analytical and quantitative skillls

  • Proven ability to prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of clinical metrics including Stars, Documentation/Coding and medical cost management

  • Proven ability to perform root cause analysis to support improved performance

New York Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $104,700 to $190,400 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
