Senior Engineer, Hardware and Silicon Validation (Job Code: F032) - Fishkill, NY. Multiple positions available. JOB DUTIES: Provide IP bring up/debugging support to SoC teams. Perform board/chip level silicon validation/characterization on Marvell’s internal IPs such as High-Speed SerDes, PLL, ADC, power regulator, temperature sensor, etc. Responsible for script development of automated testing. Provide IP usage training to Marvell’s internal FAE. Work with IP design team on new chip features, definitions, and bring-up. Work with architecture team on future product definitions. Develop technical collateral such as application notes, user guides, data sheet and test reports. Provide knowledge transfer and technical mentoring for junior and senior engineers. Telecommuting is permitted.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.Experience must include one (1) year with each of the following:1.Analog/digital circuit and data communication system.2.SerDes technologies such as PCI Express or Ethernet.3.Semiconductor chip lab testing and measurement including PHY Rx characterization, temperature sensor, current generator.4.PCIe, SerDes electrical compliance test.5.Writing test automation scripts in Python.6.Usage of High-speed test equipment oscilloscopes BERTS spectrum analyzers.7.IEEE and OIF industry standards for communication protocols. 8.C++, Matlab, or Excel VBA.
