Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Creates, coordinates, reports, posts and manages all functions related to 24 hourschedules of nursing department employees based on CBA and/or facility requirements.
Completes the daily staffing form with current and accurate adjustments and updatesthe master schedule.
Assigns staff in accordance with the master staffing plan developed specifically for thefacility.
Notifies appropriate personnel and adjusts daily schedule to cover staff call offs, noshows, staff leaves due to disability, workers compensation, PFL or terminations.Assists in securing coverage.
Promptly communicates and provides accurate and timely reports on daily staffing,vacancies and agency use to the Director of Nursing, Facility Administrator andmanagement.
Maintains accurate attendance records and notifies management of attendance-relatedissues. Maintain timely records of call-offs, tardy and early arrivals and coordinate dailywith HR to ensure attendance policies are administered promptly and fairly.
Prepares disciplinary notices regarding time and attendance for nursing leadership toissue, weekly, after the completion of time cards.
Accurately enters and maintains data relative to scheduling using company softwareprograms in UKG.
